Describe your personality and character: I’m very positive. I like discipline and I’m well organized. I like being busy and studying. I’m very friendly and I enjoy every minute of my life.
How do you think others would describe you? As a very friendly person; positive, energetic, and creative. Someone who is always surrounded by family and friends.
What would you say is your strongest personal trait and why? I’m very positive and that always makes things better. Everything I do will be positive and that’s great for daily life.
What is your favorite sport? Basketball
Describe your own athletic ability/skills: I am a great basketball player and a good swimmer too. I took ballet classes for 4 years when I was a little girl and salsa classes when I was 20.
What is your favorite type of music? Oldies and New Age
Why is this your favorite type? I like all kinds of music, especially music that makes me feel happy about life and love and inspires my day.
Describe your own musical abilities/skills: I play piano. I studied for 5 years. I like to play musicals such as The Phantom of the Opera and classical music and the Beatles.
Describe any other special talents, skills, hobbies or interests you may have: I like international affairs, especially related to international law. I like languages and foreign literature as well.
What is your favorite book? The Art of Happiness, by the Dalai Lama
Why? Because I like the subject and I can apply the happiness principles in my life.

Why? I love romantic comedies, especially those written by Richard Curtis
Describe your own artistic abilities/skills: I paint. I used to paint more when I was younger. I like impressionist art very much. I also love writing and literature.
Do you speak any foreign languages? Portuguese, Spanish, Italian
Have you had any unique travel experiences that you feel have helped shape your way of thinking and/or the way you live your life?
The first time I traveled without my parents was really important to me because I felt that I could now do things by myself and it made me much more mature.
Have you had any unique educational experiences? Camping, because we were cooking the food we could find and sleeping in sleeping bags.
Have you had any unique experiences with volunteer work? I used to go with my college friends to places where we could teach poor people how to read and write.
If you were given enough funds to spend one year of your life to engage in any recreational, political, religious/spiritual, or other endeavor of particular importance to you, what would you choose to do? I would like to fight for human rights protection. I think it is the most important thing we have as human beings on this planet-our right to be human and be treated accordingly. |
