Describe your personality and character: I am one of the most charismatic individuals anyone will ever meet. More often than not, I leave a good impression on people. Many of my friends can rely on me for a direct, honest opinion. Sometimes though, my ambition can be mistaken for stubbornness. I am one of those who believe firmly in respecting the earth and each other, as the life balance will take care of us.
How do you think others would describe you? Personable and funny, at the very least! I can also be seen as a pain in the butt, I’m sure, because I tend to blurt things out without thinking first. Some may call it rude, but I just think it’s blunt.
What would you say is your strongest personal trait and why? My sense of humor! When I’m not busy sharing my insight, I’m telling a joke. People take themselves way too seriously. I have my bad days too, only I don’t have to cut anybody off because of it.
What is your favorite sport? Baseball, without a doubt.
Describe your own athletic ability/skills: The majority of my physical activities included performing arts, such as Winterguard and Colorguard, which is debated as a sport but counts to me. I also participated in track and field, mostly in high school as the second best long distance runner, third best hurdler. I have many stupid human tricks as well! Flexibility and the ability to outrun all the kids in the neighborhood since age 8.
What is your favorite type of music? Acoustic guitar and 70s hits, like the Beatles and Paul McCartney
Why is this your favorite type of music? Because I love hippy music and I’m learning how to play the acoustic.
Describe your own musical abilities/skills: I play violin, flute, clarinet, piccolo, piano, and some guitar. I picked up the violin first in 2nd grade, although I would have rather invested in a cello or harp!
Describe any other special talents, skills, hobbies or interests you may have: My life centers around art and dance. It may seem silly but I love playing with my slingshot. I’m getting pretty good too!
What is your favorite book? Plato, The Republic and Wasted, by Marya Hornbacher
Why? I witnessed my best friend battle an eating disorder, nearly to death. In this book, I was shown how truly devastating and cunning Bulimia is and how one person had the courage to conquer it.
What is your favorite movie? Amalie (the French love film)
Why? Because it is one of the most original love stories I have ever seen. I was very inspired the first time I watched it and I ended up painting a portrait of my significant other. A week later, my painting was nominated in the Art Gallery contest. I did not win, but it prompted something very positive in my life.
Describe your own artistic abilities/skills:If only my room were on display. The entire exterior of my house is practically one giant mural. I thoroughly enjoy painting, drawing, and every form of art that you can think of. In my spare time, I sell designs for cars, vans, tattoos, and business cards. It’s always an honor to participate in a public display with my works.
Have you had any unique travel experiences that you feel have helped shape your way of thinking and/or the way you live your life? Definitely. I spent one summer in Eugene, Oregon with my best friend. During my visit, I learned just how much my art can be appreciated. Neighbors saw some doodles and bribed me to keep them. I sold them for less than the offer but it was one day when I decided to make a statement to the world. Some day I’m going to leave my mark and it’s going to be opinionated and glorious!
Have you had any unique experiences with volunteer work? I got to volunteer at the Wildlife Center animal sanctuary. I will never forget the horned owl we recovered from a ditch in the neighboring town. She not only made a full recovery but had babies at our site one year later. The family was set free just in time, before becoming domesticated. “Mama” can still be spotted sometimes at the creek in the evening.
If you were given enough funds to spend one year of your life to engage in any recreational, political, religious/spiritual, or other endeavor of particular importance to you, what would you choose to do? I would travel the world as a photographer and artist and then put together one hell of a show when I returned. |

What is your philosophy on life? There is no one else in the world who know everything that you know. I am just as unique as you are.
How did you come to have this philosophy on life? You must feel to know that and I have felt this way since I accepted the Lord into my life as my Savior.
What is your ultimate goal and ambition in life? I may not have figured that out completely yet but I know one thing is for sure: I truly hope to leave a lasting impression on the Earth that will inspire others to do good for our planet. It’s the only one we’ve got-just like our bodies. Treat it good whil you have the chance and it will thank you in the long run.
How do you plan on achieving this goal? I cannot stand to see animals behind bars, on display but I cannot stop it. So, I figure the next best thing is to be there with these animals and help re-populate the endangered species. If I could, I’d paint a billboard the size of Canada to address it!
Why do you want to be an egg donor? When I was 21 I had an abortion. Then, my best friend got married. Because she was recovering from an eating disorder, it was difficult for her to conceive a child. I knew how it felt to be pregnant, but for many reasons, could not go through the experience. Now, she may never experience it. I would like to help someone like her to increase their chances.
What do you think egg donation means to potential recipients? I would think it could mean a solution to starting a family.
Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself that we haven’t asked? The reason for my abortion. I was barely 21, scared, working full time and had not yet finished school. I would like to have kids when I am 29 or 30, in love and ready to enter motherhood responsibly. |
