Describe your personality and character: I am easy going and sociable. I have a good sense of humor and a very positive outlook on life. I am compassionate and would do anything for the people that I care about and those who are in need. I am a firm believer in treating others the way that you want to be treated. I’m willing to try almost anything once and I enjoy doing things that are intellectually stimulating.

How do you think others would describe you? I think others would describe me as sweet and respectful. I think they would say I’m easy to get along with and a really great listener.

What would you say is your strongest personal trait and why? I would have to say my strongest personal trait is my ability to empathize. I think it is important for people to find someone with whom they can relate to and is kind and compassionate.

What is your favorite sport? My favorite sport is to play volleyball and football with my brother.
Describe your own athletic ability/skills: I like playing sports just for fun. I played volleyball in middle school but didn’t have time to play any sports in high school. I also like playing football with my brother and cousins when we all get together.

What is your favorite type of music? I like soul, R&B, and hip hop.
Why is this your favorite type? I like soul and R&B because they’re smooth and relaxing. They typically have good lyrics to go along with them too. I enjoy hip hop because I love to dance and it gets me energized.
Describe your own musical abilities/skills: I played the piano for five years when I was younger and am planning to pick it back up again.

Describe any other special talents, skills, hobbies or interests you may have: I enjoy doing outdoor activities, cooking and baking. I recently developed a passion for ATV riding.

What is your favorite book? Life Expectancy, Tuesdays with Morrie, The Da Vinci Code, my Sister’s Keeper
Why? These are my favorite books because I like stories that keep me interested and wanting more. I like My Sister’s keeper and Tuesdays with Morrie because they have a deeper meaning to them and I like The Da Vinci Code and Life Expectancy because they are suspenseful and keep you thinking.

What is your favorite movie? Love Actually, The King and I, and anything suspenseful.
Why? I like Love Actually and The King and I because they have cute story lines and have some comedy as well. I also like movies that keep you at the edge of your seat and have a lot of twists.
Describe your own artistic abilities/skills: I can write well. I have had a couple of poems published and am planning to write a novel. I have always excelled in my English classes and I enjoy creative writing.

Have you had any unique travel experiences that you feel have helped shape your way of thinking and/or the way you live your life?
My first trip to the Philippines was a very eye-opening experience. I never knew how blessed and fortunate I was until I saw the kind of poverty that my parents grew up in. It was inspiring to see how far they have come since moving to America. Since that trip I have learned to appreciate all of the things that I once took for granted and to really value my heritage.

Have you had any unique experiences with volunteer work? I sometimes volunteer at the facility where my mom is the administrator. It is a home that gives care for 32 women with developmental disabilities. While I’m there, I spend time with the women and play games with them and let them know that someone cares. I find it really refreshing working with these women because they are so innocent and pure of mind.

If you were given enough funds to spend one year of your life to engage in any recreational, political, religious/spiritual, or other endeavor of particular importance to you, what would you choose to do? I would choose to go on a mission to an underdeveloped country and give them medical attention, education, and nourishment. I think that you are given gifts so that you can give back to those in need. Because I am blessed, I think it is important to share those blessings with others.

What is your philosophy on life? My philosophy in life is to treat others the way you want to be treated and that although it is important to set goals and to achieve your dreams, life is too short to waste stressing out.

How did you come to have this philosophy on life? I think that it is just a very practical philosophy. If more people but themselves in other people’s shoes, the world would be a lot happier. Furthermore, I have found that stressing out really gets you nowhere and that relaxing gives you the ability to put things into perspective.

What is your ultimate goal and ambition in life? My ultimate goal in life is to be successful in my professional and personal life. I would like to be able to do charity work and to give back by opening a clinic in an underprivileged community. I also want to have a happy marriage and to be a great mother.

How do you plan on achieving this goal? I plan on achieving my goals by working hard and staying focused. I know that is going to take a lot of time and hard work to obtain my Master’s degree, however I am driven and very determined to make it happen.

Why do you want to be an egg donor? I want to become an egg donor because I want to give people the opportunity to experience parenthood and to give them a family. I think that being raised in a happy household is crucial to a person’s overall life. I know that in this process my eggs will be donated to people who are prepared to have a child and I have no doubt that the child will be loved and happy.

What do you think egg donation means to potential recipients? I think that to potential recipients, egg donation means having the opportunity that would otherwise not be an option. It is giving the recipients the ability to experience the miracle of childbirth and parenthood.

What are your thoughts on egg donation as a fertility option? I think that egg donation is a wonderful fertility option. It gives the recipient a chance to have the whole childbirth and parenthood experience. I especially like the fact that these recipients are people who actually want to have a child because they are willing to go through this whole process
