Personal Profile

Describe your personality and character: Fun, outgoing, reliable, honest, trustworthy, hard working, responsible, happy.

How do you think others would describe you? Trustworthy, honest, reliable, happy.

What would you say is your strongest personal trait and why? My mind is my strongest trait. It allows me to live and is always analyzing things, whether I want it to or not.

What is your favorite sport? Basketball
Describe your own athletic ability/skills: Very competitive, great stamina, in shape.

What is your favorite type of music? Country
Why is this your favorite type of music? It’s relaxing, soothing, and upbeat at the same time. A lot of songs hit home.
Describe your own musical abilities/skills: I play guitar.

Describe any other special talents, skills, hobbies or interests you may have: I’m very interested in Mythology and psychology. I love watching people and see how people react to different sorts of things.

What is your favorite book? Harry Potter
Why? Because it is taken to a different level with the magic and everything. It’s a very entertaining book.

What is your favorite movie? Dirty Love
Why? Because it explains (as a comedy) what a woman goes through in a relationship when she is cheated on. And how she wants revenge. It’s very comical.
Describe your own artistic abilities/skills: I love to draw. Not a professional, but I still have some ability.

Do you speak any foreign languages? Greek

Have you had any unique travel experiences that you feel have helped shape your way of thinking and/or the way you live your life? Yes, my vacation to Greece. I realized that my living situation is nothing compared to theirs. They live very poor lives and compared to anything or anyone in the USA. They don’t take advantage of anything or anyone; they respect everyone and are very well raised. People in Greece are friendlier than people in the United States, probably because the cities are not as big as the ones here. The experience has allowed me to appreciate my life a little more and become thankful for the fact that I am loved by everyone in my family and I am surrounded by friends who have my back.

Have you had any unique educational experiences? None really. My education was based on being self smart. Education can only get you so far in life-you also need to have the ambition to be able to work and be able to support yourself and your family. You have to do what it takes to survive. Education will only get you to the “book smart” stage. Your experiences in life will get you to becoming intelligent with the world and know what it has to offer you.

Have you had any unique experiences with volunteer work? In FCCLA, we went to feed the homeless. One lady grabbed me by the hand and asked if she knew me. I said, “No, I don’t know you”, but she kept insisting she did and as we were leaving, she spoke in Greek and said, “I love you.” It was pretty bizarre.

If you were given enough funds to spend one year of your life to engage in any recreational, political, religious/spiritual, or other endeavor of particular importance to you, what would you choose to do? I would choose political because I know that there is so much more that the government knows that they are not sharing, due to our financial stability as a country. The government has cures for every disease out there, but the only reason why they will not share it with the world is because the pharmaceutical companies would go out of business and they are the companies that bring in the most revenue.

Philosophies and Thoughts

What is your philosophy on life? Live one day at a time. Live for today, not tomorrow for tomorrow is a gift.

How did you come to have this philosophy on life? My best friend died in a car accident on her birthday and I realized that life is too short and that I can’t plan for tomorrow because I don’t know if I will be here.

What is your ultimate goal and ambition in life? To be successful and to raise a healthy family of my own.

How do you plan on achieving this goal? Work while I am young, that way I won’t have to do it when I’m older and it’s more difficult. If you work at something, and I mean really work at it, and achieve it, the feeling of achievement is so much more rewarding than having it handed to you.

Why do you want to be an egg donor? Because I finally figured out a way that I can help women-families who need it. I can give them something that their body doesn’t want to give them-a new life, a new face, a new picture in their family.

What do you think egg donation means to potential recipients? A miracle. That they are able to have a new life be born again from one tiny egg.

What are your thoughts on egg donation as a fertility option? I believe it’s a great idea. Why not use the ones that wouldn’t be used anyway!

Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself that we haven’t asked? I have a strong head on my shoulders and I have a warm heart to let people into my life and to show them that I am a caring person and that I will be there for you. If you ask any one of my friends, or even some of my co-workers who don’t even know me that well, they can all tell you that I am one of a kind.
