Describe your personality and character: I am outgoing, friendly, generous, responsible, loving, loyal, and thoughtful.
How do you think others would describe you? Sweet, caring, “motherly”, thoughtful, a giver, and compassionate.
What would you say is your strongest personal trait and why? I am very responsible… I think this comes from being the oldest child and also just being raised to look after my siblings.
What is your favorite sport? Football
Describe your own athletic ability/skills: I didn’t really play sports but I have always been interested in dance and was on the dance team in high school as well as the color guard (flag girl) in the marching band.
What is your favorite type of music? I honestly do not have one specific type of music that is my favorite; I enjoy everything from country to rock to the “Top Hits”.
Why is this your favorite type of music? I love music in general, it can bring you up after a long day or it can be something to relax you.
Describe your own musical abilities/skills: I love to sing and was in the elite choir throughout high school. I do not play any instruments.
What is your favorite book? I don’t have one favorite book, but my favorite author is V.C. Andrews.
Why? I love this author because her books offer suspense, drama, and romance, all in one.
What is your favorite movie? The Notebook
Why? In my opinion, this movie is the greatest love story of all time.
Describe your own artistic abilities/skills: I love to scrapbook, it’s one my favorite things to do. I like to see how creative I can be with each new page.
Have you had any unique travel experiences that you feel have helped shape your way of thinking and/or the way you live your life?
I love traveling and I have traveled all over the United States. I think that just seeing different cultures and ways of living has helped me to broaden my thoughts and views towards people, and it keeps me an open-minded person.
Have you had any unique educational experiences? I feel that just going through college and now graduate school has shown me so many diversities and beliefs and it reminds me that the more educated I am, the more I can be a productive citizen.
Have you had any unique experiences with volunteer work? Yes, through my coursework in my undergraduate program as well as my Master’s degree, I have volunteered at local adoption agencies, agencies working with the mentally disabled, the YMCA, and at the university itself. I feel that volunteering my time is just a small way that I can give back to the community.
If you were given enough funds to spend one year of your life to engage in any recreational, political, religious/spiritual, or other endeavor of particular importance to you, what would you choose to do? I would want to spend that year making sure that every child in the United States who doesn’t have a home finds one. I would advocate for foster parents’ and adoptive parents’ rights and for the states to provide more funding towards them. I would also want to construct bigger and better facilities for children who are in waiting and make them feel more “home” like. I would love someday to see all children have a home. |

What is your philosophy on life? Get the most out of life by doing what you believe in and being the best you can because you never know how long you will be on this earth. Also, tell your loved ones that you love them every day!
How did you come to have this philosophy on life? After my father’s death, I have strived to live by my philosophy!
What is your ultimate goal and ambition in life? Have a rewarding career that I love, find someone to share my life with, and start a family.
How do you plan on achieving this goal? I will finish my Master’s degree so that I can have the career that I want and hopefully in the near future, I will find someone to share my life with so that I can start that family.
Why do you want to be an egg donor? I have donated four times previously and I feel so blessed that I have helped so many families. I love hearing about their journeys with their children and how happy they are. I would love to have the opportunity to help another family in this way.
What do you think egg donation means to potential recipients? I think it’s a way of starting or adding to a family. I can only imagine what most recipients have been through to get, and stay, pregnant. I know this means a lot to them and that they are relying on me for so much!
What are your thoughts on egg donation as a fertility option? I am so grateful that I live in a time where technology has allowed individuals/families the opportunity to have a family with assisted reproduction. I would consider this as an option if I myself ever needed it.
Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself that we haven’t asked? I am a very reliable person, I have never missed an appointment or forgotten to take a shot. I know what is expected of me and I have never had any problems with any previous cycles. |
