Describe your personality and character: Outgoing, vivacious, honorable, compassionate.
How do you think others would describe you? They would describe me as being smart and respectable.
What would you say is your strongest personal trait and why? My morals because I stand up for what I believe in and I always work to better myself.
What is your favorite sport? My favorite sports are gymnastics and ballet.
Describe your own athletic ability/skills: I’m very flexible. I competed at an intermediate level in gymnastics. I am great at tennis and softball. I would consider myself to be fairly agile.
What is your favorite type of music? R&B, hip hop, rock
Why is this your favorite type of music? These are all my favorite types of music because they are fun and give off different energies.
Describe your own musical abilities/skills: I have played violin and piano.
Describe any other special talents, skills, hobbies or interests you may have: I am great at problem solving. I’ve always been a very logical person and I have a knack for conflict resolution. I was a peer mediator in high school and I got praise from all of my teachers. My hobbies would be: tennis, swimming, writing, cooking, and drawing. My interests are many but world travel is one of them. When my parents were young, they traveled the world together. I would like to see other places and experience other cultures.
What is your favorite book? Happiness, a Guide to Developing One’s True Skill
Why? Because I have learned a lot from it.
What is your favorite movie? The Shawshank Redemption
Why? Because it is meaningful. A man was wrongly convicted of murder and awful things happened to him in prison but in the end, he was vindicated. I like it when the good guy wins and the bad guy loses. It also had a great story of friendship that I found really touching.
Describe your own artistic abilities/skills: I am great at writing, drawing, and cooking.
Do you speak any foreign languages? Farsi
Have you had any unique travel experiences that you feel have helped shape your way of thinking and/or the way you live your life? Not yet! I have not traveled outside of the US yet but I would most like to travel to Iran because it is the place of my ancestry. I have seen pictures and I know it is very beautiful. It’s the cradle of civilization.
Have you had any unique experiences with volunteer work? Yes, I worked in a soup kitchen when I was younger. It really opened up my eyes to how people struggle in life and to appreciate all the things that I do have.
If you were given enough funds to spend one year of your life to engage in any recreational, political, religious/spiritual, or other endeavor of particular importance to you, what would you choose to do? I would like to do missionary work in a third world country.
