How do you think others would describe you? Unselfish, loving, helpful, family-oriented, humorous.
What would you say is your strongest personal trait and why? I would say my strongest personal trait is my unselfishness. I always put other people’s needs before mine. I believe this is strong because it helps many people even in the most insignificant circumstance. Most people lack this trait, which also makes me believe that unselfishness is always powerful.

Describe your own athletic ability/skills: I have the ability to dance fast as well as gracefully. I am also generally flexible.
What is your favorite type of music? Classic rock, classical, opera, and alternative.
Why is this your favorite type of music? These genres helped shape the future of music and have significant influence I every culture. Also, these genres created their music without the use of today’s computer technology.
Describe your own musical abilities/skills: I am able to play the acoustic guitar and piano. I can also sing in high notes. I sang in the soprano group in my high school choir. I have also written a few of my own songs.

What is your favorite book? Shakespeare’s Sonnets
Why? This book gives me a poetic influence for song writing. Also, each sonnet tells a story as you progressively read each sonnet. With Shakespeare, there is so much room for interpretation, so you have to find his hidden meanings.
What is your favorite movie? Phantom of the Opera
Why? Aside from its romantic story line, the music composition and singing is absolutely breathtaking! I can watch this meeting repeatedly just listening closely to the music score.
Describe your own artistic abilities/skills: Music performance and dancing (modern dance, jazz, belly dancing, ballroom).
Do you speak any foreign languages? Hmong
Have you had any unique travel experiences that you feel have helped shape your way of thinking and/or the way you live your life? I have visited Hong Kong and Beijing. I went from people living in high rises in Hong Kong to a simple lifestyle in Beijing where people were living in little stone houses. Seeing the cultural differences made me realize how much we were taking for granted here such as health care and availability of food.
Have you had any unique educational experiences? I once participated in a program called “Odyssey of the Mind” in which I was part of the Vaudeville group. We ended up winning 2nd place and that was when I realized that I should explore the more artistic side of myself.
Have you had any unique experiences with volunteer work? I used to volunteer for an animal shelter a few years ago. There was a time where I assisted in saving a dog’s life. It was one of the most intense moments in my life. Saving that dog’s life was truly an amazing feeling because it was the first time that I have ever saved any animal’s life.
If you were given enough funds to spend one year of your life to engage in any recreational, political, religious/spiritual, or other endeavor of particular importance to you, what would you choose to do? I would travel all over the world and help or influence people’s lives even if it’s in the smallest form. I would like to think that they would take my help and in return help other people. Thus, starting a chain like in the movie “Pay It Forward”. I would also like to bring some musical influence as well.
