Describe your personality and character: Outgoing, spontaneous, and fun-loving. I am also a very honest and caring person.
How do you think others would describe you? A fun person to be around with a good heart.
What would you say is your strongest personal trait and why? My empathy towards others. I think people can sense that about me and trust in that.
What is your favorite sport? To watch-football; to do-swimming
Describe your own athletic ability/skills: I was in track and swimming in high school and did well in both. I still run and swim for exercise.
What is your favorite type of music? I like a wide variety, but I really enjoy 80s and early 90s music.
Why is this your favorite type of music? I like singing along.
Describe your own musical abilities/skills: I played the flute and a little piano.
Describe any other special talents, skills, hobbies or interests you may have: I have always loved and enjoyed horses. Also, I love to cook and bake. I also really enjoy decorating my home and helping others decorate theirs.
What is your favorite book? I can’t think of a favorite but the last one I read was “Eat, Pray, Love” which I really liked.
Why? I liked the author’s satirical way of explaining life.
What is your favorite movie? Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Why? It has been my favorite since I was little-it makes me feel like a child again.
Describe your own artistic abilities/skills: I was in advanced art classes growing up and I still enjoy drawing or painting things for my home.
Do you speak any foreign languages? Spanish
Have you had any unique travel experiences that you feel have helped shape your way of thinking and/or the way you live your life? No, but I would love to travel more and really learn and appreciate different cultures. The trips that I have taken were mostly either spring break vacations or business trips.
Have you had any unique educational experiences? Nothing stands out in particular. I really enjoy learning-it comes very easy for me.
Have you had any unique experiences with volunteer work? Before I moved to the city I now live in, I was in the process of becoming a Big Sister. I plan to do that in my new city.
If you were given enough funds to spend one year of your life to engage in any recreational, political, religious/spiritual, or other endeavor of particular importance to you, what would you choose to do? I would love to travel around Europe to learn about the various cultures and to learn about myself.
