Personal Profile

Describe your personality and character: I can be shy at times, but I am humble, kind, and I appreciate everything that life has to offer.

How do you think others would describe you? A bit introverted, funny, and nice.

What would you say is your strongest personal trait and why? Making people feel comfortable. I have a way with people, which is why I enjoy working in the travel industry.

What is your favorite sport? Cheerleading-if that counts!
Describe your own athletic ability/skills: Exceptional in dance, naturally athletic (thanks to Dad).

What is your favorite type of music? Classic rock, Folk
Why is this your favorite type of music? I enjoy the music that was written with heart and soul; the kind of music that took months to write and lasted for seven minutes instead of three.

Describe your own musical abilities/skills: I played piano at a younger age.

Describe any other special talents, skills, hobbies or interests you may have: I am an avid reader (I started at age 2) and I’m really just an artist at heart.

What is your favorite book? Gigi Lou
Why? It is impossible to find today. It was written in the early thirties and my mom used to read it to me as I fell asleep. I loved that dolls and toys may have actually come to life after I went to sleep.

What is your favorite movie? Edward Scissorhands
Why? It is a bittersweet love story with misunderstood characters. I always cry and I always hope the ending has changed each time I watch it.

Describe your own artistic abilities/skills: Exceptional with sketching and painting. I enjoy art and art history.

Have you had any unique travel experiences that you feel have helped shape your way of thinking and/or the way you live your life?
The part I enjoy most about traveling is the people that I meet on a day to day basis. They are going to funerals and weddings and birthdays and honeymoons. I have learned to appreciate my time on here on earth and I spend all of my fee time traveling to see friends and family

Have you had any unique educational experiences? I used to mentor underprivileged kids to given them a chance at college and children with disabilities.

If you were given enough funds to spend one year of your life to engage in any recreational, political, religious/spiritual, or other endeavor of particular importance to you, what would you choose to do? I would most likely visit children’s hospitals. My cousin is a pediatrician and knowing that I have so many stories of travel, I would be honored to be able to share those tales with kids who think they may never leave their hospital beds.

Philosophies and Thoughts

What is your philosophy on life? It’s short, so keep your family close and enjoy every beautiful day. Stop once in a while to take a deep breath. I always take advantage of the fact that I am ale to do that!

How did you come to have this philosophy on life? I always followed the high school-to-college-to career way of life until I woke up one morning and realized I wasn’t happy. I left school for a year and moved to the East Coast on a whim. Now I know that life has SO much to offer, and you should do the things that make you happy. Even mistakes are a part of growing up and they help shape who you are.

What is your ultimate goal and ambition in life? I know that I will always want to work around people so I would love to remain in the travel industry. I want my family to know that I love and admire them all and I want to be able to look back and not regret one single day.

How do you plan on achieving this goal? I plan on continuing what I am doing now! I have finally figured out how to enjoy this life and not take small things (like sunrises!) for granted.

Why do you want to be an egg donor? I’ve grown up around many people (especially out in the country) who have kids only because it is the next step in life and many times kids are unexpected. I find it unfair that so many unfit parents are bringing unwanted children into this world and there are so many loving couples that deserve to have a child but can’t. I’m still figuring myself out, but I feel selfish having the ability to bear children and not sharing it.

What do you think egg donation means to potential recipients? I think that if they have gone as far as to try IVF, then the gift of my donation will be the greatest miracle they could have ever hoped for. I want to help and I know that this will be the chance of a lifetime that many women hope for.

What are your thoughts on egg donation as a fertility option? I am amazed that this option has become so mainstream and I think that it’s a wonderful opportunity for the people that need this option.
