What would you say is your strongest personal trait and why? The ability to stand up for right or wrong, in what I believe in. This is a rare quality. I do not follow others. I am a leader!
What is your favorite sport? Horseback riding, swimming, baseball
Describe your own athletic ability/skills: Average. I have good drive.
What is your favorite type of music? R&B, reggae, rock, dance
Why is this your favorite type of music? The beat, the lyrics, the voices.
Describe your own musical abilities/skills: I’m just learning to play guitar. I used to play the clarinet, flute and keyboard. I’m a fast learner.
Describe any other special talents, skills, hobbies or interests you may have: Patience and compassion, working with animals and people (children, seniors, mentally challenged). Hobbies are: reading, shopping, camping at the beach.
What is your favorite book? Life on the Other Side, by Sylvia Browne
Why? It’s the first book I read by Sylvia and it answered questions I had all my life-it made me more spiritual.
What is your favorite movie? Troy, Titanic, The DaVinci Code
Why? I enjoy watching movies that are true stories-they mean more to me.
Describe your own artistic abilities/skills: I won a coloring contest at Easter at our City Hall when I was between 8-10 years old. I enjoyed coloring and painting.
Have you had any unique travel experiences that you feel have helped shape your way of thinking and/or the way you live your life? I went to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico 7 years ago. Waking up to see whales swimming in the ocean and the beauty of the landscape gave me more appreciation for the land we live on and how we care for it!
Have you had any unique educational experiences? The wonderful college teacher I had who would preach about compassion and empathy and treating everyone fair and equally. My wonderful ex-boss who tirelessly taught me all I know about caring for God’s precious animals.
Have you had any unique experiences with volunteer work? In grade 12, working with kindergarten children and forming relationships with them-all of them so unique and still dear in my heart.
If you were given enough funds to spend one year of your life to engage in any recreational, political, religious/spiritual, or other endeavor of particular importance to you, what would you choose to do? Hypnosis. I believe it to be healing in all and for all aspects of life. It is truly amazing. I would learn, teach, and hypnotize as many people that I could. |
