How do you think others would describe you? I believe that people who know me would describe me the same way. Those that I meet and my acquaintances would say that I am sweet and friendly. I get along with everybody. I am a person that they can rely on and trust. I am caring and like to help people.

What would you say is your strongest personal trait and why? I am loving and considerate. No matter what may occur I am always considering others. I am thoughtful and I love to surprise people and make them feel good. At the end of the day all that matters to me are the ones that I love.

What is your favorite type of music? I like all music, except for techno. I love the Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer and Jack Johnson.

Why is this your favorite type of music? I like the beat of the music. That’s what I listen to the most. I also love the lyrics they write. They’re original and beautiful.

Describe your own musical abilities/skills: I have played the flute and piano. I know how to read music. I enjoyed piano the most. I also took part in the chorus in school. I would love to learn how to play the guitar or the drums one day.

Describe any other special talents, skills, hobbies or interests you may have: I am flexible and like doing gymnastics, pilates, and yoga. I love learning new things so that leaves my hobbies wide open-from taking a salsa dance class to planting flowers in the garden. I also like to keep my mind active by reading and doing puzzles.

Have you had any unique travel experiences that you feel have helped shape your way of thinking and/or the way you live your life?
When I traveled to Jamaica it really got to me how a lot of people live in tiny little shacks with barely anything at all yet they still have such an amazing outlook on life. Their good nature put a smile on my face.

Have you had any unique educational experiences? One field trip sticks out in my mind the most and that is the one my 8th grade class took to the Holocaust Museum. It was so surreal to walk around and see all of the artifacts and documents they have restored and saved throughout the ages. It is a shame that our ancestors had to suffer and endure that unforgettable time in our history. That museum is a reminder to all that we must not allow that to occur ever again. I remember walking through one of the actual train cars that they used to ship innocent human life into the concentration camps. It was gloomy and heartbreaking. You felt for them and you could sense a harsh presence.

Have you had any unique experiences with volunteer work? I used to visit nursing homes to spend time with the elderly. Their faces would light up when they were visited. I love the idea of having company over and sharing time with people. I always visited my grandparents and great aunt at home too and that made for some of the best memories. I really enjoyed talking with the elderly in the nursing homes and hearing their stories. They have the best stories about when they grew up. You just know that they have lived a fulfilling life. It always made me want to go back in time for a day to see what it was like being a kid in the 40s or 50s.

If you were given enough funds to spend one year of your life to engage in any recreational, political, religious/spiritual, or other endeavor of particular importance to you, what would you choose to do? I would love to join the Peace Corps. It would be such an adventure and a major life altering experience. I would love to help out all around the world in any way I can. It would be so fulfilling to bring happiness into other peoples’ lives.

Philosophies and Thoughts

What is your philosophy on life? I believe that God has a plan for everyone but that he leaves the choices and paths you choose to take up to you. He works in mysterious ways. I like to think that everything happens for a reason and if it’s good, that’s great, but if it’s bad, it’s the experience. God only gives you what you can handle and there is always room to grow. Find a reason to smile!

How did you come to have this philosophy on life? I don’t think that anything extraordinary happened to me, I just take things how they come and learn from my mistakes. I’m observant and I’m always taking things from my surroundings. I see and hear about the miracles and horrors in life, but I’d rather focus on the beauty of things-that’s what keeps me going. I try to make every day count.

What is your ultimate goal and ambition in life?  I want my life to be full and rich with experiences, family and friends. If I can make it as an actress, that would be wonderful. That way, I would have my dream come true and I would be able to support and take care of my family. I look forward to having a husband and kids one day. I also would love to travel all around to see the diverse cultures and people.

How do you plan on achieving this goal? As for my goal of becoming an actress, I have taken the first step by moving to California. I have already participated in many acting programs and I have taken acting classes during college. I continue to audition and practice, practice, practice. I will make things happen for me because I am determined and driven.

Why do you want to be an egg donor?  I saw an ad in the newspaper about donating eggs and it intrigued me. I looked up more information about the process in order to learn what it was all about. I know that I want at least one child someday and it would break my heart if I was unable to become pregnant. I would hope that someone would be able to help me out. I know how dear a life is and I would love to help a happy couple or individual bring a new life into their world for them to love.

What do you think egg donation means to potential recipients? Egg donation means a chance and a hope for having a child of their own to love and nourish.

What are your thoughts on egg donation as a fertility option? I think that it is wonderful for people who are given the gift of conceiving to be able to help out another who is less fortunate in this area.
